Best re-brands of 2024
Let’s dive in! the 2 best re-brands we wish we’d done this year.
We’re nominating Michael Hill Jewellery and Reflections Holiday Parks for the best re-brands we’ve seen this year, from an Australian POV.
Here are 2 projects we would have loved to bag at Rather Design. Instead, we share with you two videos that really unpack the process and reasoning behind a refresh or full rebrand.
Why do we think these are the 2 best?
Full trust in their chosen creative team.
Bravery - all ten points. It can feel like spending money to throw years of work away. This points back to the aforementioned trust factor.
Reception - it’s been great for both brands.
Understanding the value - Clients who think their creative output comes secondary to the service or product they sell are misguided. The creative output is wrapped around these things and delivers them into the eye balls, brains and hands of their audience! It has to stand up. These are clients who value designers and agencies with experience in mass market consumption.
Side note: Jewellery and holidaying are two of life’s great pleasures!
Why are we telling you about jobs we haven’t done?
1.We’re design enthusiasts, keeping up with what’s happening in the industry and sharing what’s possible.
2. We can absolutely do this for you (OK, minus getting Miranda Kerr to be your brand ambassador).

See below a preview of 2 projects landing in our portfolio shortly. Freestyle Joinery have been delivering some very high end projects in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs and have been featured in Belle magazine several times this year, so it was time for their branding, ( a new website soon) to be updated to match.
Similarly, Clarence House Venues has been in business for decades, and with newly renovated function rooms and a huge social media following, their branding needed a simple but cohesive facelift to better compete in the wedding sector.
